brm Posted August 7, 2012 Report Posted August 7, 2012 I need some help in identifying this strut. I have searched wreckers comparing various struts and found none that match. Dimensions are as follows: Steering arm/Ball Joint mount bolt hole centres 85mm Brake caliper mount bolt centres 89mm Thread in strut 12 X 1.5 mm could have added as all caliper mounts I have seen have thread in caliper slide not strut Stub axle bearing diameters: Inner bearing 31.5mm Outer bearing 19mm Seal 48mm same as XT 130 and other large stub axles I have seen Tube diameter 51mm Part number shown on tube TOYOTA -340.4.8.084 From my investigations I can rule out the following vehicles XT130 KE 70 ST141 MX73 Celica I am unsure of exact model 62 or 63???? Need your help to match these and find another pair to make into coil overs. Thanks Ben Quote
Paul Posted August 12, 2012 Report Posted August 12, 2012 From the photo's they look like XT130/RT132, which measurement has ruled that out? I know the caliper bolt centres are 89/90mm on *T13* struts because you can use MX62 Cressida calipers and MA61 discs with some very simple mods. Quote
LittleRedSpirit Posted February 4, 2013 Report Posted February 4, 2013 88.9mm is the measurement. Its 3.5 inches. 3.5x 25.4mm = 88.9. XT130 struts feature a cast on caliper mount and that spacing. Quote
Paul Posted February 6, 2013 Report Posted February 6, 2013 XT130 struts feature a cast on caliper mount and that spacing. Great for milling front surface flat, drilling through holes and running spacers to use MX62 caliper on MA61 disc. Running that upgrade in my pano. Quote
