Torana Xu1 Rear Boot Spoiler Will It Fit

anyone know if the ductail spoiler off of a TORANA XU1 will fit on a ke70.

they look like it may but i can't get my hands on one without buying it first to see

I doubt it, but its fibreglass so it can be modified to.

I'm just looking for ducktail options the trd one looks a bit to much but i want something more menacing than the ones ive seen people do.

Well you'd have to fibreglass the ends for starters unless you want gaping holes

Ive got a fibreglass gtr xu1 spoiler of that type, yes it does fit quite well with minimal mods. The hole for the lock even lines up.

I can see a few problems off the bat-

 

The curve in the boot of the LC/LJ wont match the square edge of the KE70 boot,

 

The next problem would be the mounting, I'm not sure on how low the KE70 boot lid rolls over the edge, but there might not be enough meat to mount the bobtail in the vertical section.

 

What measurements do you want (I have a couple of these floating about.... comes with the territory)

 

You can also buy them brand new from a few places, they arent that expensive either.

You can buy the spoiler to suit ke25 on eBay. A guy Overseas makes them

I reckon an LX boot spoiler would be better in a lower profile.
