corolla_bitten Posted January 31, 2006 Report Posted January 31, 2006 hey guys, was just reading thread "new rims on my ke70" and noticed that his left hand rear wheel was rubbing an the guard, my ke70 has been lowered and it does the same, the wheels all have the same off set, is it from the five link rear end, is there a way to fix it cause it is slowy cutting into the tyre, besides rolling the guard. :y: Quote
corolla_bitten Posted January 31, 2006 Author Report Posted January 31, 2006 the left tyre is level with the guard, and the right is almost two inches in side the guard, it looks bloody stupid. nothing else i can do. Quote
Felix Posted January 31, 2006 Report Posted January 31, 2006 you need an adjustable panhard rod. Quote
Redwarf Posted January 31, 2006 Report Posted January 31, 2006 (edited) Either that or a straightening rack. You really shouldn't have a 2" offset unless something has moved, which on a 20 something year old car is a possibility. Edited January 31, 2006 by Redwarf Quote
TRD ke70 Posted January 31, 2006 Report Posted January 31, 2006 50mm difference, dude you have some serious problems in the back. check to see if the pan hard rod is bent, if not check the bushes by moving the car side to side in the back, there should be no movement from the bushes. if all else fails, get under the car with a tape measure and measure from the centre of the diff to a point on the chassis rail on both sides, you should get about the same measurement.
