4ke30 Posted July 2, 2012 Report Posted July 2, 2012 hey guys, i got a problem recently when my car gets to its normal operating temperature it missfires like a mother ʞ©$ɟer, but up untill its fully warmed up it runs smooth and responsive good as new, I'm guessing the heat from the manifold is going straight up through the carby therefore its just burning already burnt fuel, if i pull the choke it runs better but still shit, as i said it only does this when hot, when cool/warm it runs overrated. any ideas? thanks Quote
ke70dave Posted July 2, 2012 Report Posted July 2, 2012 Ignition could be breaking down, carbs generally work better when warm. Quote
4ke30 Posted July 2, 2012 Author Report Posted July 2, 2012 where would you suspect the leak be? Quote
JOEKA Posted July 17, 2012 Report Posted July 17, 2012 I got the exact same problem, got a 4k out of a ke30... Could it be the dizzy, leads or spark plugs? Quote
