Custom Air Box

i want to make an air box to surround my 9" air cleaner and sit under the scoop i am fitting to my bonnet.does anyone have any ideas how to do it?

Hey Mick,

Seeing as no one has posted a reply I thought I'd post this for you, seems simple enough but that's normally the case until you try making it!

Looks like it would seal nicely up against the scoop with the rubber edging.

lol.i just spotted that!pretty much what i did but i used some 2mm alloy plate(for heat deflection)bent it into a semi circle and folded a 5mm lip on the inside top edge and riveted it to the bottom of the bonnet.then using more alloy i made a flat plate to sit on the carby and put ruber edgeing on both so when i close the bonnet it seals but still easy to get to air filter and carby.works brilliant!
