Though I doubt a cop will pull off a wheel. It'll void any insurance. Quote
Ke55Revive Posted June 25, 2012 Report Posted June 25, 2012 thanks champion, back to the tyre shop for me! Quote
derrickgeneric Posted July 19, 2012 Report Posted July 19, 2012 noob question from a noob guy in melbourne ;) is it true that you are not allowed to lower your car here or the cops will fine you? or is there any limit on how low can you go? sorry for the noob question guys, but no one from my friends can give me the answer :D Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted July 19, 2012 Report Posted July 19, 2012 The general rule seems to be you can go no lower than 100mm at your cars lowest point. And you can do it as long as its done properly, so no cut springs. Quote
derrickgeneric Posted July 19, 2012 Report Posted July 19, 2012 i see, thanks man! its a good thing i found rollaclub.com! cheers! Quote
ke70dave Posted July 19, 2012 Report Posted July 19, 2012 there are also limits on percentages of suspsension travel, both bump and rebound. ie if you lower the car too much, and only have 10mm of bump travel left, you might be within the 100mm, but not comply with the suspension travel requirements.
