greendog Posted June 18, 2012 Report Posted June 18, 2012 i just tried to start my ke35 i wrecked,it wont crank, its making relay noises at the relay under the dash. ive removed the instrument cluster, and it started fine before i removed it. does it need to be mounted to start? i really didnt think it would have been necessary for it start. if it is can i bridge the plug to start it.doing my head in here Quote
altezzaclub Posted June 18, 2012 Report Posted June 18, 2012 Probably easiest to hotwire it, just run a +ve battery to the coil & see if using the key for the starter will run it. Without the dashboard the only thing missing will be the ignition light and gauges, but if you had a rev counter in it you might have lost the coil power. Quote
