nerfbat Posted July 21, 2012 Author Report Posted July 21, 2012 thanks mate. and i can't get over how much the 5sfe pull. so much torque down low. and i was thinking of selling this and focussing on a 4AGE AE82 20V totally different feel to the 2 RE acceleration. which way to go...hmmm Quote
towe001 Posted July 21, 2012 Report Posted July 21, 2012 You know what i think :P The darkside has more pull then a pool party of wet teenie bobbers... Whereas the rolla would be the pool party, it'd be nice but you'd be fingering for something better. Quote

Stenzel Posted July 21, 2012 Report Posted July 21, 2012 Zowie can tell you the look on my face etc when I hopped out.. I didn't believe it was the same engine in it that I sold it to him with. They are fairly torquey throughout the rev range stock but now I can't beleive it when you hit around 4grand + Absolutely speechless.. Quote

nerfbat Posted August 31, 2012 Author Report Posted August 31, 2012 picked up a cheap st205 from my mate at John's panel shop, as they only bought her for the motor. nfi what i'm to do with it. prob too damaged to repair. but the interior is great, has 5 mags and tyres all 95% tread, and only had 110k kms on it hope i can use some bits?? anyone know off hand if the disc brakes on the st205 bigger? might be able to score a cheap upgrade that way? pics to come Quote
nerfbat Posted August 31, 2012 Author Report Posted August 31, 2012 may look into if the dash, glovebox, centre console, or the cruise control could be transferred Quote

Zip Opps, sorry couldn't help it Quad lights :P http://www.carbenfibrecreations.co.uk/products/images/st185/quadlights/ answered my own question, google wins again, lol looks like at the very least, i scored a cheap brake upgrade From what my DBA catalog says it'll depend on what year model your st184 is - the early models (10/89 - 8/91) had a 255mm vented disc where as the later model (8/91 - 11/93) had a 278mm vented disc. The st204 had a 275mm vented disc. The st185/205 are the 4wd versions. Toyota-Edition2004.pdf Quote
