I rebuilt my carb. After getting it all together I noticed that the bowl wasn't filling with gasoline. If I manually fill the bowl the car runs fine, but it wont fill itself. I am almost certain that the twists that were needed to take the fuel solenoid off were just enough to kill the ancient wiring soldered on the back. Any other thoughts?

Problem is now fixed. Needle and seat were correct. A bit of junk from the fuel lines got caught in the needle / seat. After sorting this issue and linkage, car runs good.
