hey, made the extractors fit the sidepipe today, sounds sick as :D so can't wait to drive it haha

 

first one is lumpy idle

 

this one is 5800rpm :D

G'day, got a bit more done today, mounted the gear knob better, put the steering wheel on straight, polished the top of the manifold, mounted a ss lip i got for $20 and painted it :P looks heaps better now :y:

 

mounted the lip, just used cable ties as the bumper is different on ss

 

then pulled it off coz the tow hook went on the inside

 

 

motor back together

 

polished

 

put some new stickers on that i got with the tyres

 

 

few more things to do but its getting there, still have 3 weeks and 2 days :P

For that intake though, would it be worthwhile extending the pipe to have the pod a bit further away? Perhaps tucking it closer to the headlight surround, but slightly lower, would draw some more air?

 

Either way, the vids sound mad and i'm sure it's an absolute hoot to drive.

hey mate, cheers, yeah the saloon cars run 1 particular one, so i'm just leaving it for now, might put the standard cold air intake back on for some more air though :y:

hello, i removed the handbrake yesterday, and i painted the rest of the skirts satin black, also stole the rear shocks out of my vn i got for the gearbox, now the springs can't fall out and its so much stiffer now, they are gabrial red riders or something like that haha the old shocks are completely stuffed haha, just gotta change the oil and filter then she's ready to go, went to the v8 supercars at winton on saturday for the first time, was so awesome but got pretty burn't :bright: haha

Thanks mate, i enjoy doing it myself, it's coming along alright so far, just coming up with the money to buy the crap i need is a pain but it's getting there, can't wait to get in saloon cars, hopefully it goes ok haha :y:

hey mate, i'm using a t5, saloon cars use t5s and they get about 300hp not sure about others though
