frknstn Posted June 11, 2012 Report Posted June 11, 2012 hey guys new member here. not realy used to forums but anyway. heres my new project. bought it from southport for $800. being that i lived in newcastle the distance was crap but it was incredibly cheap and had everything i was going to do to it already started and there so i was pretty lucky. left at about 4am on saturday morning and and arrived at soutport around 2pm to pick it up. then drove home yesterday. woke up fairly early this morning planning to get a whole lot of work done to it but the weather is pretty horrid. so i only realy got the interior stripped out. plans are for now just to get this engine in properly and running the get the tailshaft sorted. take it for a few runs with the open diff and stock suspension out at my grandparents property. then slowly start to transform it. its only gonna be a drift missile so nothing fancy. its only gotta go sideways and shred tires hahaha. frknstn Posted June 11, 2012 Author Report Posted June 11, 2012 rain has managed to hold out so ive got the entire interior gutted now. damn that heater and aircon was a bitch to get out. if anyone is after any perticular interior bits pm me. i wont be making a forsale thread yet until i know what exactly I'm keeping and not but i doubt there will be much staying in the car Quote

JJT036 Posted June 11, 2012 Report Posted June 11, 2012 Looks like it'll be a Mean Drifter mate. Gonna be crazy when it's done. Btw, that's most likely to be VN-VP-VR Buick V6, not a VS Ecotec V6. :) Josh  1 Quote

stockorolla Posted June 15, 2012 Report Posted June 15, 2012 Nice to see another Ksev in the build in Newcastle! Looks like a good project mate :) Quote
frknstn Posted June 15, 2012 Author Report Posted June 15, 2012 Best score today. Bloke from across the road come over to have a look at the Rolla and asked what I was doing roll cage wise. I said I'm only going half cage for now since it will only be used at prac days and he said he's got a couple half cages from some of his cars sitting in the shed since he's gone to full cages. One is put of a p76 and the other I can't remember but they shouldnt require to much modifying to fit. So awesome but. Quote
