Ke35 Coupe What Engine?

I'm completly stuck! got a ke35 coupe striped down painted and ready for running gear, origanly i was gunna run a 13b bridge port with a carby, but i was told it was gunna be a massive and expencive exercise. so I'm looking for some good engine conversion ideas, something with a good power gain and not gunna cost me the world.

I'm leaning towards a 4age 20v

Anything that is not the standard one (or a derivative of) will be an expensive exercise. The question is, what do you consider expensive? Ie what's your budget and skill level?

20valve 4age will still require custom work.... what cost was the 13b conversion going to be?
