luke.t. Posted May 20, 2012 Report Posted May 20, 2012 Alright so ive replaced my rear main twice now and the second time i did it i also sleeved the crank thinking that was the issue but NO its still leaking. Not sure why its still leaking. Just wondering if anyone else has had an issue like this. When i get time to pull it down again I'm gunna check the rear main housing and see if thats the issue. Also what sorta oil pressure should i be aiming for because at the moment at start up its around 80-90psi and starts to drop as it gets hot then sits around 50-60psi while driving. Is this too high because i am using quite a thick oil (penrite 20w60) to help reduce the tappet noise haha. Any suggestions or advise would be highly appreciated as i don't enjoy stripping my car in my single car garage all the time lol. Thanks heaps Luke Quote
