This happens apparently. Another boosted K RC member was saying recently, he'd had the same problem. The pressure plate needs more clamp pressure, take the pressure plate off and send it off for a spring upgrade.

My STD clutch held 100rwkw/134rwhp with huge amounts of torque. But if I slightly rested my foot on the clutch pedal it would slip, so I'm guessing that was pretty close to it's limit.

ahh i see well ill have a look at that, my other plan was to put an old supercar clutch in it and use 1 plate instead of 3 plates and machine it down

Have a look at the clutch plate.....

Mine seemed slightly too small! There was a bit of meat left inside the contact area.

DidYou machine your fw?

Thought about switching up to a T50? I couldn't imagine a k40/50 will last you too long at all.. Especially if you have a weldy(?)

are you using a 180mm or 200mm clutch? i HIGHLY doubt a button clutch would slip with boosted 4k. ours didnt slip with a highly boosted 7k?

Aforementioned clutch held up perfectly, Copped a reasonable amount of crap on top of the 250hp it was taking in the first place. Never slipped.

yeah fly machined its whatever size the stock 4k flywheel is havnt measured it. its on e85 and has lots of torque at about 130hp it starts to slip must be where its making the most torque i guess. also its adjusted correctly if anyone was wondering

T50 clutch isn't still 180mm jono

What do you mean? I was just assuming there'd be more/ better options for clutches for the t50. Never actually looked into it with mine
