Hey stu,

How easy was the fit with the 4a?

Pretty easy as it's in a KE-70 using AE-71 crossmember.

You'll find with the KE-20 it should still have ample room in the bay. There are a couple of these setups in a 20 on here, have a look in the rides section, you'll also find some with a 7agte's which is a hybrid 4age/7afe engine which are 1800cc. For engineers you should be able to get away with the 4agze ecu, just have to run low boost.

The engine I did for my mate, I left nothing to chance and thankfully he spared no expense. We've fixed the wastegate issue by ditching the "eboost" boost controller and fitting a 35psi spring in it. I'd expect to see atleast 290+rwkw or 390hp in the old language, with the 11psi more boost and some can adjustments. Even with the 238 the thing is out of control in a 900kg KE-70 and he's spent heaps on the rear end!!! Don't forget a KE-20 is heaps lighter.

I'd put up some pics but for some reason my lapto isn't picking up my wifi and can't find the cable. I can email them from my phone if you pm me your email address.

It's not a nice looking bay, it's a track car so it's been built for a purpose.
