B.L.Z.BUB Posted April 10, 2012 Report Posted April 10, 2012 We are Corolla owners and lovers for a reason. We can obviously see something in them most people can't. But apart from anything Corolla, and lets even exclude Toyota in general .... What car and why? Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted April 10, 2012 Author Report Posted April 10, 2012 for me: The Ford Sierra RS Cosworth Quote
Willis Posted April 10, 2012 Report Posted April 10, 2012 To be honest, probably a KE25/TE27 with Formula Atlantic 4A powah or an RX3/808 with some PP action. Don't really have a "dream' car from the newer side of things. Maybe an FD? Quote
madKE35coupe Posted April 10, 2012 Report Posted April 10, 2012 i have had an obsession with the pikes peak suzuki escudo since i got it in gran tourismo  but if not that i would have to say lamborghini diablo Quote
Jono.C Posted April 10, 2012 Report Posted April 10, 2012 Ke18 Corolla Panelvan No bumpers, Cool stance, and powered by a H1 Hayabusa 2.8 v8 12000rpm.. God damn! Quote
carbonboy Posted April 10, 2012 Report Posted April 10, 2012 for me: The Ford Sierra RS Cosworth and why? For me: Ferrari F40, in black. Deathwish on wheels, fantastic as a mid-life crisis car. Failing winning the lottery, one of these would do me nicely: Nissan R34 GTR V-spec II Nur I have a soft spot for GTR's (think early 90's), if I'm gonna turn to the dark side I might as well get a good one. Quote

I still think FD for a newer car ;) Quote
DZach23 Posted April 10, 2012 Report Posted April 10, 2012 AMG Mercedes 190E 2.5 16V Evolution II Touring Car. Thank you, Gran Turismo 4 Somewhat practical aswell..... Quote
irokin Posted April 10, 2012 Report Posted April 10, 2012 Seen as it's dream drive and not dream ride, currently: 997 911 GT3 Cup. An unadulterated mechanical but still modern race car. Sequential gearbox, naturally aspirated, big brakes and no bullshit assist this or assist that. Unfortunately rear engined and only left hand drive but I think that just adds to the fun. Plus its affordable enough that I could pay for a drive of one. Beetle jokes, kgo! Quote
ke70dave Posted April 10, 2012 Report Posted April 10, 2012 yeah id have one of those porshes. depends what we are talking about here. If it is a dream daily driver where i still pay daily expensese (ie i "win" the car), id have to go something like a E46 BMW M3. proper H pattern manual gearbox with a few modern electronics. If more of a no expensese spared 2nd car type thing, ie non daily. caterham 7 R500. and becuause it is a all expensese paid, i would pay whatever TO GET A DAMN WINDSCREEN ON IT! or more of a nostalgic car taken out on special occasions, but still a cool car, id have something like a mk1 escort with a BDA....in full rally trim of course.
