ae71wagoneer Posted April 4, 2012 Report Posted April 4, 2012 where can i get a mild cam, inlet manifold for a 32/36 weber and extractors for an AE71 4ac,relatively cheap? Quote
LittleRedSpirit Posted April 4, 2012 Report Posted April 4, 2012 The only extractors Ive ever seen for a 4ac were on american ebay. Quote
clubby2084 Posted April 6, 2012 Report Posted April 6, 2012 I saw 4ac extractors on ebay only about 2 to 3 weeks ago, they were from a company in Victoria called Hurricane. They can be contacted at: performancexhaust.com.au or 03)98704977 The ones they advertised were for FWD, but you never know your luck, they may have RWD ones as well. They were about $300 + postage Quote
ae71wagoneer Posted April 6, 2012 Author Report Posted April 6, 2012 thanks guys.i found some extractors at a wreckers for $100.still chasing an inlet manifold and cam. Quote
altezzaclub Posted April 6, 2012 Report Posted April 6, 2012 Isn't the cam just a "send of & grind it" job from one of the half a dozen cam grinders around? Do you need a specialist inlet or is it like the K motor with just an adapter plate fitted to the stock one?? If you're up for a new manifold you might as well look at a single DCOE as an option too. Evan G Posted April 6, 2012 Report Posted April 6, 2012 ive recently done a head a cam package for a 4ac for $400. includes a 210 duration @ 50 thou cam. (mild) can't go any bigger than that with a regrind. 40 thou taken off the head. port matched and a valve lap/new stem seals ran a 16.7 down the 1/4. ( i think( Quote
ae71wagoneer Posted April 7, 2012 Author Report Posted April 7, 2012 i could put an adapter on the stock inlet for my 32/36 weber, but i'd prefer a better inlet manifold for it.Evan, where you at?that sounds perfect.can you get/do me one? Quote
