mjrolla Posted January 11, 2006 Report Posted January 11, 2006 the road up is a public road and i know i wouldnt be doing anything unlawfull unless it was a specified "hill climb" day, I'm sorry if ive ruffeled any feathers. and yes, a central met point, and cruise would benifit all vic members. i was only making suggestions as per what the thread had asked for, nothing definate was made. what ever is organised ill try to get there to meet every one. the ritchies car park is larger now and it would be easier to park there, GZE82,i agree espicially at this timeof year. cheers marranda Quote
kangaroosa Posted January 11, 2006 Report Posted January 11, 2006 All suggestions are welcome, and I'm sure Tiger was not having a crack at anyone. So its all good. Since alot of us don't know each other personally, its just better to make sure everyone knows what is expected and what will not be tolerated (hooning, wheelies etc) as this is a reflection on Rollclub as a whole. There are a few cars being built at the moment, and are expected to be finished soonish. Personally, i would like to wait a month or so for these blokes to come along too. My engine is undergoing a reco in the next few weeks, so that counts me out for anything within the next month at least. Quote
Tiger Posted January 11, 2006 Report Posted January 11, 2006 Thanks for that clear up Kanga. I wasn't pointing fingers at anyone... but I am just laying down some pointers or cruise "rules" that we'd like to stick by... and its only for the cruiser's best interests. That's all. So feel free to post up suggestion. Just have that note in the back of your heads. That's all I ask :harhar: Thank you for the suggestions so far Quote

GZE82 Posted January 11, 2006 Author Report Posted January 11, 2006 any pics of ur rolla tiger? Quote
Tiger Posted January 11, 2006 Report Posted January 11, 2006 Mine still looks like a poofter blue standard KE55 sedan, because it hasn't seen the inside of the garage yet to get started on it. Gotta make room for the project. I've got a thread in the Project section... page 3, I think. Plenty of pics in there. Quote
mjrolla Posted January 11, 2006 Report Posted January 11, 2006 cool no worries here i understand. i go riding with a bike forum too, so I totally agree with the whole "visible stikers link us to website so behave your self" rule (not that i can wheelie the car or the bike any way :harhar:) Quote
Clown Posted January 11, 2006 Report Posted January 11, 2006 Last time i went up arthurs seat was with the mr2 club. Great spot for a cruise and up top is good for photo's. Getting a bit ahead of us here but was thinking possibly a weekend on down the Beach (on G.O.R somewhere) at the end of the year when everyone knows each other a bit better. You know, bit of driving, few drinks and general partying. Quote
Tiger Posted January 12, 2006 Report Posted January 12, 2006 (edited) That's a plan to work towards... most definitely. That would be good to go on a Great Ocean Road cruise and do an overnighter around there or something. Edited January 13, 2006 by Tiger Quote
muller Posted January 12, 2006 Report Posted January 12, 2006 (edited) don't really care about the location, I'm easy, just have to make sure that there are more rollas there than everything else this time. :harhar: working nightshift means that i work friday nights so id have to pull an all nighter and just drive straight to wherever after a 12 hour day or take friday off like i did to make it to the last meet but i don't plan on doing that alot. would people care of it were a sunday rather than a Saturday? Edited January 13, 2006 by Tiger Quote
Clown Posted January 13, 2006 Report Posted January 13, 2006 I'm really not fazed if its a sunday or sat. THinking about it though sundays probably easier as I'm usually out late on friday nights. Quote
SLOTH Snr Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 Athurs seat sounds like a good idea. Later in feb when the crowds are down and the weather is good. We should think of a meeting point Moorabin way so we can cruise down together. Other option is a picnic at hanging rock. I doubt Muller will object its closer to home. Quote
Clown Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 What ever everyone finds easy, I'll just need a bit of warning so i've got something to drive and some cash. Quote
mjrolla Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 hanging rock... that would be cool. once asked a past boyfriend to take me there on a picnic but he refused, said id get lost and never return :P Quote
