hey all,

well i am one happy fella now,

 

Last tuesday seen a add for a apprentice mechanic, i rang that day and talked to the fella

wednesday i sent thru my resume and letter by fax.

thursday i got a call saying i had a interview at 9.30 on saturday.

interview went well, i got a second interview yesturday (monday)

today i was i cleaning out my boot and came across a bit of metal stuck in the rail thingy on the side.

happens to be a weird coin (pics below) i said to my GF that this will be my lucky charm from now on.

1 hour later i got a call saying i got the job!!

so I'm stoked, start on thursday..

 

ohwell, just my rant for today

chinese i ching coins have a square hole, rumored to symbolise several different things (china/universe, heaven/earth, etc) but likely originating from the original ancient process of making the coins by rounding down metal blocks on square rods

 

 

 

either way, xany gave me one of these a while back, i keep it on my keyring to bring me luck, and it's certainly worked so far :dance:
