Make sure it is low pressure only, 4 psi max. Think about how you wire it so it turns off if the engine stops without having to turn the key off, bearing in mind you should locate it in the boot near the tank. Rubber mount it. I had a facet pump years ago and even rubber mounted it was pretty noisy.

Remember you will need a fuel pump blanking plate. When you find one, tell me where as I need one too.

Used to run Facets as I used to get them for free. Noisy but reliable. Had the on in the racer wired up so that if the motor lost oil pressure, it would cut the fuel. don't ask me how it was done now though.

The level is rising in the sump? As in you've busted the fuel pump diaphragm and filling the block with fuel?

Seriously though, facets are a pain in the arse noisy piece of shit. It'll be a cold day in hell before I install one over a mech pump.

Source power from the tail lights so when you have your parkers on,

Can work like a turbo timer also, turn it off and let it starve the engine of fuel, haha

i dunno if fuel is a good lubricator, you might not have an engine to supply fuel to if you keep that up!

i see no reason for an electric one, just get a new mech one?

edit: the oil pressure idea is nifty, but you would need to hook it up so that it activated on "start" on the key. so it went when you pressed start, kept going when you had oil pressure, but turned off with no oil pressure or no start.
