I got the head shaved down so compression is at 10.1 i think And had the oringinal cam reground but can't remember specs and got extractors with 2 and 1/2 inch exhaust but with stock carby. And I'm about to slap a sc14 supercharger on it and is wondering if anyone can tell me if it will just go pop or will it last? Please need some help? Quote

altezzaclub Posted March 14, 2012 Report Posted March 14, 2012 Surly it depends on the rate of spin you put on the S/C?? So the pulley diameters determine the boost, just boost it to 5psi, then 8psi then.... Are you gong to fit a blow-off valve to limit the boost? You could fit a pair of head gaskets, or cut a 2mm blank out of steel, the sort of things we did while rallying. Quote
