Just a helpful hint on those Mazda steelies mate, You might want to get a Die Grinder because the centre hole needs to be trimmed slightly (they will go on snugly without it BUT will not come back off easily).....trust me It's only about a mm that needs to go but it WILL make a difference when removing them. I bought a KE20 many years ago with exactly same wheels on it but baldy tyres.......let's just say the end results was new wheels aswell....... Quote
nerfbat Posted April 7, 2012 Author Report Posted April 7, 2012 cool mate. will check that out..! Quote
nerfbat Posted April 10, 2012 Author Report Posted April 10, 2012 tyres fitted to the '82 626 RWD steelies the difference in rolling diameter, new rim is closest to the camera going from Auto to manual, i had to knock out the blank in the firewall to accommodate the clutch cable lucky i had the white donor car for the proper clutch cable housing getting it in place mounted, sealed and undercoated lightened flywheel clutch assembly fitted got the engine/box in, but the gearbox crossmember doesnt line up. also the ke 70 shifter is further down the tunnel than i at first hoped. will need to take some meat out of the tunnel. ran out of light and gave up for the night will take more pics tomorrow Quote
