i was following a old couple in there blue csx KE70 (had air con lucky buggers) on friday by Major's Road then a bule and silver drift spec AE70 drove past and was staring at the old lady's and my car. he gave me the thumbs up i think then he drove off. just wondering if anyone knows the guy with the ae70 it was a bule and silver and had silver rims i want to know more about this car.

AE71 you mean? Why do people call them AE70's :lolcry:

 

Is there a "sports" version of the KE70? Because I saw a KE70 looking Corolla with stripes down the side, real good condition, mistake it for new and a 5 speed + dx badge on the boot lid I think.

saw a sky blue ke55 with a rollaclub sticker on it saturday about lunch time on jetty road glenelg. .

Saw a white KE20 drive past the roundabout near fusions house on Galway Avenue today at about 5:30pm. I was going to my uncle’s place to see my KE25. What a coincidence.

because a AE70... is a KE70 engine (4K-c) with a AE71 body (slant front)

KE70 came out with the square front (early model) and slant front (late model). AE71 just came out with the slant front.

 

An AE70 would be a KE70 with AE71 running gear or AE71 running gear with a 4AGE fitted instead of a 4A-C. :D

i went to trade skool a few years ago with this dood.

he came on one of our rolla cruises a few years back.

 

i rekon it was running mild 5k, worked a treat up in the hills.

can't remember his name.
