rolla_boy70 Posted November 18, 2007 Report Posted November 18, 2007 i was following a old couple in there blue csx KE70 (had air con lucky buggers) on friday by Major's Road then a bule and silver drift spec AE70 drove past and was staring at the old lady's and my car. he gave me the thumbs up i think then he drove off. just wondering if anyone knows the guy with the ae70 it was a bule and silver and had silver rims i want to know more about this car. fusion Posted November 18, 2007 Report Posted November 18, 2007 (edited) AE71 you mean? Why do people call them AE70's :lolcry: Is there a "sports" version of the KE70? Because I saw a KE70 looking Corolla with stripes down the side, real good condition, mistake it for new and a 5 speed + dx badge on the boot lid I think. Edited November 18, 2007 by fusion Quote
DR1FT Posted November 18, 2007 Report Posted November 18, 2007 saw a sky blue ke55 with a rollaclub sticker on it saturday about lunch time on jetty road glenelg. . Quote
Raven Posted November 18, 2007 Report Posted November 18, 2007 saw a sky blue ke55 with a rollaclub sticker on it saturday about lunch time on jetty road glenelg. . That would be Chet :lolcry: Quote
nickyboy Posted November 20, 2007 Report Posted November 20, 2007 AE71 you mean? Why do people call them AE70's because a AE70... is a KE70 engine (4K-c) with a AE71 body (slant front) Quote
fusion Posted November 20, 2007 Report Posted November 20, 2007 How do you tell if a car has a 4K in it than? :D Quote
Tally Posted November 20, 2007 Report Posted November 20, 2007 Saw a white KE20 drive past the roundabout near fusions house on Galway Avenue today at about 5:30pm. I was going to my uncle’s place to see my KE25. What a coincidence. Cheers Tally Quote
fusion Posted November 20, 2007 Report Posted November 20, 2007 I don't think that ones from around here . . . seen a few corollas in this area but can't remember many, if at all any KE25's in white :D Quote
Raven Posted November 20, 2007 Report Posted November 20, 2007 because a AE70... is a KE70 engine (4K-c) with a AE71 body (slant front) *Wronggggggggggggg buzzer sound* KE70 came out with the square front (early model) and slant front (late model). AE71 just came out with the slant front. An AE70 would be a KE70 with AE71 running gear or AE71 running gear with a 4AGE fitted instead of a 4A-C. :D Quote
