post-1432-0-60762700-1330589814_thumb.jpg

Just over 36 thousand on the clock for a vehicle from 2008

Think it was pretty good, one other that we looked at had about 92 thousand for the same price of 9 grand but only had a tonneau cover.

Yep 1.5Litres of raw power. A few times i forget it was in 3rd, just above idle as i pulled away from the lights and i didn't even ride the clutch in doing it.

Gear changes are beautiful, not overly firm but just a shnick with each gear shift. Very nice i thought, reminded me of my old ae82 seca.

But no real big plans on the little truck

  • Alloy tool box in the tray
  • Nudge bar with a pair of spot lights
  • Fog lights
  • A pair of work lights above the tray
  • Cruise control

Most are and they are starting to make their own engines now i think. I'm doing a clutch on a jumbuck at work now. Gear box on the floor in 40 mins easy. Simple cars. Not too bad.

Mitsubishi 4g15 motor

From what i've been finding out, from the A pillars forwards is Satria. And the doors are the same as the CC or CE 4 door lancer. Which leads into a possibility of "factory" power windows and "factory" power mirrors.

Which leads into something i think is interesting, if this thing is based on the Satria/CC Lancer then it'll mean the 6g12 MIVEC from the FTO would be drop in fit with no mods. The FTO runs the same chassis as the CC Lancer.

Popped into Opposite Lock today after mum transferred the rego over and ordered in a nudge bar (about $520), pick it up on friday next week, fingers crossed it'll be earlier.

And since WOW sight and sound have gone into receivership we went in there to price a reversing camera. The cheapest was 3.5" with a camera that had to have a hole drilled into the body work - $199. And with a "stuff that" we walked out. So we'll get one off ebay.

So far the only thing i can say is that the B pillar behind the drivers head sucks. Go to look over the right shoulder to check the blind spot and all you see is a bloody B pillar.

6g13 twin turbo sitting in a lancer/mirage

Don't know if the link will work. I had to sign up.

This is gonna be a post for the 6a13tt in a 1997 mirage DE. This is gonna be FWD not awd.In this conversion you can use the following items from a 1.8 97+ mirage.

1. 7 bolt flywheel (used lightened)

2. Stage 2 racing clutch ( stage one or stock is to weak i would think)

3. The axles and tranny

4. THe crossmember for 1.8 tranny AND MOUNTS I filled these with a polymer resin to help stiffin the mounts worked great looks bad sad.gif

5. The 1.8 radiator USE SLIM LINE FANS !!! STOCK FANS WON'T FIT

6. Your gonna want to unravel the 1.8 wiring harness and seporate the wiindsheild wiper controls and plugs also you gonna need to the 4 plugs from under dash I know one is for the wiper motor functions. There is 2 behind you radio and 2 under dash right wall behind glove box. I could not do this ass I sold my engine and wiring harness and ecu to another mpf member.

7. you are gonna need the 1.8 relays from the behind the radio. 1 is the mfi relay the other is for the fuel pump.

What you can't use.

1. The passenger side motor mount from the 1.8 won't fit make sure you get this mount with your new engine it is curved and it is a must to have.

2. 1.8 engine and wiring harness well most of the wiring harness

3. You are gonna need to shocks and springs the stocks ones will flatten. I purchased aftermarket suspenstion so i can not recomend what you should use. My coilovers work great.

4. FUEL PUMP WALBRO 255 IS HIGHLY REOMENDED LESS YOU LIKE DETONATION! So your stock fuel pump has to go bye bye.

5. And probably the most painfull thing..... you can never use 87 or 89 octane fuel ever again only 93 or better for this puppy.
