ROLLN'03 Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 Ive never used the autometer range, but I'm guessing it might be a PRE - WARNING kind of thing? Not to sure? Or maybe one of your wires is a little dodgey....... :) Quote
-Miller- Posted January 6, 2006 Report Posted January 6, 2006 sounds like a bit of a bad earth? my mates used to flicker with his sub!! Quote
Super Jamie Posted January 6, 2006 Report Posted January 6, 2006 i'd suggest calling autometer. either something's hooked up wrong (bad earth, interference from tach signal) or you've got a faulty dial Quote
gtnickk Posted January 6, 2006 Report Posted January 6, 2006 Thats what i would do, call autometer or take it back if its not the dial its an earth or some dodegy wiring that your sound system or something may be interfering with. Quote
Nitephyre Posted January 7, 2006 Report Posted January 7, 2006 use a normal tacho? but yet, sounds like a bad connection Quote
Rolla__Boy Posted January 7, 2006 Report Posted January 7, 2006 ok gust this is the second time it has happend to me with too difrent type of gauges (split fire) sold (auto meter) new 1 Since this is the second different type of gauge that has done the same thing, I don't think it's the gauge. Nitephyre Posted January 7, 2006 Report Posted January 7, 2006 i don't have a tacho at all... plus i don't like monster tachos, just personal preference.. but power to those who like em :rocknroll: anyhow, sleep for cruise Quote
muller Posted January 7, 2006 Report Posted January 7, 2006 you should be able to listen to your motor and feel it sort of if that makes any sence. my cousin is into drift and has a 5" tacko and he says he only wants the shift light but its the same as a light and taco so why not get the both. couple of months and he says that he dosent even look at it. but yeah personall preference, agree there. havent heard much about the spit fire guage that KErolla is on about, they a reputable guage brand? Super Jamie Posted January 8, 2006 Report Posted January 8, 2006 yeah, they're one of the major ones Quote
