What exactly is the problem mate? Kinda hard to tell, is it the lca bushes that are the problem or the arms themselves? And what are they going into? cbf searching for threads atm.

So are the bushes too long? If so how much? Is the circumfrance right?

yeah wrong bush, take it back.

you want this:

http://www.superpro.com.au/find-superpro-parts-for-my-vehicle/part?id=SPF0509K

that thing sais "use original shell"

not sure what that means.

but it comes with 2x bushings and 2x inner tubes.

you don't appear to have the inner tubes.

also it should be VERY tight, like....need a press to get it in and out tight.

It means you need to use an oxy torch to melt the old rubber out of the metal shell some fulcrum bushes are like that it's kinda gay but they are a good product .. If u don't have the old shell u could go and buy a nolathane or white line bush and I may have a shell as well

ok! sorry.

i do have the inner tube i just didnt put them in for the pic... they just slot in

BUT!! the guy i got the arms off came round today, and he couldnt even work out the hell is up. does any one have a picture of coron LCA's they can put up? cause it is starting to look like they are the wrong arms!@!E@!#

Did you read my post above you need the outer metal shell from the original bush that was is the arm and you press the super pro bush into it after u remove the old rubber with an oxy torch

As I understand it, you don't need an outer shell with two-piece bushes like Nolathanes.

The originals were one-piece, consisting of an inner steel tube, an outer steel tube and 'Metalastic" rubber injected molten in between them, so the rubber has to distort to let the suspension go up and down. The outer tube was a press-fit (with a hydraulic press or a vice) into the LCA, the inner tube gripped by the bolt.

The Nolathane bushes I've worked with are just pushed into the LCA, usually just a smack with a hammer does it. I think the inner steel tube rotates inside the plastic when the suspension moves up & down.

Does that agree with what other people have seen??

Heath, have you got the right bushes that fit neatly??
