ollii Posted February 18, 2012 Report Posted February 18, 2012 So after a bit of late night ebaying I've noticed quad rims coming in 12 inch 4x110 stud patern... As I want to build my ke10 into the ultimate paddock basher has anyone run quad rims and super chunky rubber on a ke10 ? Something different but interested in peoples thoughts Quote
Willis Posted February 18, 2012 Report Posted February 18, 2012 Not sure what you mean by "quad wheels". Do you mean ATV/quad bike wheels? I have no idea about them but happy birthday. Quote
Jono.C Posted February 18, 2012 Report Posted February 18, 2012 If you're talking about quadbike/ atv wheels, which i think you are, then they would in no way be load rated for a car... That's why they're "ATV" wheels. Quote

ollii Posted February 18, 2012 Author Report Posted February 18, 2012 Yeah something I didn't think of damn it! Would be fun as hell. My old man has a Rhino which runs quad Tyres I think that's a few hundred kilos but still not the weight of a ke:( that is fun to rally tho! Those Tyres are awsome on grass/dirt Quote
philbey Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 Those tyres can also be damn expensive to purchase, depending on the sizes. I doubt you'll get them to fit over the brakes and they'll likely clash on the strut. Although It would be cool. Post pics. Quote
7shades Posted February 20, 2012 Report Posted February 20, 2012 (edited) I ran a datto 120Y on 12" atv rims redrilled to 114.3, and bar tread front tyres from one of those kubota mini-tractors. Got grip? Oh yes. Rooster tails of mud. Everywhere. Edited February 20, 2012 by 7shades Quote
