blktoy35 Posted February 13, 2012 Report Posted February 13, 2012 flip rear leaf and cut two coils for the front.... affective but dodgy lol Quote
Jono.C Posted February 13, 2012 Report Posted February 13, 2012 ^ dodgy and ʞ©$ɟing stupid. Yes, you can do that. But, If you have a crash with flipped leaves the boys in blue will proceed to bend you over. There are several ways to do it. You can buy kingsprings to lower the front end, but usually only 30mm, you can contact them and get them to make custom length and stiffness springs. Or, You can buy a weld on coilover kit from places such as otomoto, http://www.otomoto.com.au/c/4037307/1/sleeve-kits.html Height adjustable and choose your stiffness. For the back you several options, Lowering blocks (cheap) avaliable from autobarn etc, Anything bigger than 2" blocks seems dodgy to me. You can take the leafs to a suspension joint and have them "reset" lower and get another leaf added to stiffen them up, and or have the eyes on the leaves reversed to lower it. There's been a lot of these threads made on rollaclub so take the time to read through them and see what suits you best Quote
