I would get soft mounts and ditch the phenolic spacers, its much better with the

soft mounts for sealing and vibration, redline and mislab make them.

yeah I'm running redline soft mounts and i got a link kit off the net for like $160 works well now i have it all fitted on the motor

have been sorting out wiring turnes out my big doller carter pump wos buggerd from the box.so in wen a cheap low pres pump wired a few things into the stock loom car runs ok drives well.the carbys sound awsome on song and i didnt think the car wood go so well for carbs.need to set the timing for 15deg for the hyperpak.and get the carbs tuned by a bro all in all I'm happy.

after wonting to sell the car so many times and had gave up the larst 2 days have been good working on it.will post pics and vids soon

hey mate for the charge light in the stock dash do you know whot wire it is???? my light wire of the alternator? i have googled over and over carnt seem to fined anythink like this

hi mate can you help me out? i wont to run the stock charge dash light,i have the wire for the light off the alternator.

the system charges around the 14.4 volts,so yeah anyone know whot wire i need to tap into on the back of the dash cluster??

As I said, use the existing wire from the alternator and and trace it back. no need to go to the back of the cluster.

Just out of curiosity, why rollback to twin carbs? I thought injection was more fuel efficient/powerful?

EFI has it's limits in standard form, sometimes works out cheaper just to throw some sidies on it.

yeah some say that I'm going back a few steps with running webers,tho i don't think i am the motor has been a none runner for about 2 years.has cost me about $1600 for all the bits and about 8 wires hooked up and now it runs sweet!

price of fuel don't worry me too much and I'm relly hooked on they way the webers sound.

i have allways had efi turbos,wonted somthink different.

 

i can not compare to a efi set up but my car gos relly well wos very suprised.

allso see alot of posts on google about y waist your time going carbys on a 4age, that a mate of a mate allways had to get them retuned all the time.whot i have seen and been tald by people that have been playing or running carbs for years is get them dyno tuned by somone that knows thear webers well and you shoodnt have to touch them at all.
