What the.... looking at the photos.. what the hell did he do????

the skid marks confuse me as I can only see two that are close to each other.

 

Hopefully that accident will scare him into driving sensible.

 

 

 

P.S: Astra's are very nimble and can become unstuck very quickly, he could of learnt that on a skidpan day...

When I see hoons on the road doing silly speeds, I think to myself they must be in a hurry to get to hospital, cause if they keep driving that way that is where they may end up.

Don't get me wrong I do have a streak of hoon in me, however I back off when I hit the speed limit.

i think that when you have a look at the skids he has either been doing an obscene speed and has simply come unstuck or more likley he has shit himself and tapped the brakes after the apex of the corner and the arse end has gotten a little light for him.

 

its weird cause if you loose it on a corner you will slide out to the outside of it but he has finished the corner and hit the inside of it wtf??

 

id put any money on it that speed humps would be out of the question for my street though. although the cops do like revenue raising and might do something. even if a 50 rezoning didnt work then you can always do more, but hey its a start :)

Yeh I'm confused by the skid marks too.... I guess Nick is on the right track but I can only see two skid marks and I can't make out where the cross ??

 

I think he came hot into the corner, tapped the brakes mid cornering, arse has started to come out, rather then acclerating he has panicked and jumped on the anchors.... tho... I would expect him lock it up and go off the left handside of the road... hmmm

 

Anyhow... I hope the poor bloke is alright and has learnt his lession.... if you wanna race do it on a track and if you wanna drift get anything but a FWD.

i think i know what happened after he did whatever he did during the corner.

 

has come in and lost it however and done a 180degree spin and hit the gutter on the left hand side which was all pushed under looking and then maybe because the direction of the front wheels did something but it has changed direction after it climbed the curb and hit the drivers side on what seems a backwards 45 degree angle into the tree.

 

there is no update on him either so, whoknows.

I despise people like this, because they will come into any street, anywhere at anytime and push their car past its limits, and most of all they usually won't be able to drive for shit.

 

That may sound insensitive, considering what state this bloke is probably in, but he and loads more people have/had it coming.

 

I don't mind people ripping it up doing doughies or just standstills and that, noone will get hurt from that sort of thing. But leave this sort of thing to the racetrack, or at least to country roads where only YOU will get hurt.

 

I can understand where some will be coming from with past experiences, we had someone clip our curb in a stolen early Corona, out the front of our house, and rolled it. Ended up through an old blokes window across the road from us.

 

It shits me.

 

 

Anyway, might sound contradictory, but best wishes to the bloke that pranged. Hope he comes out of it alright, learns the mistake and buys a better car :harhar:
