Jason Posted December 30, 2005 Report Posted December 30, 2005 Ok, what do people with quiet large brakes (i.e. hixlux/lundcrusier brakes) use for spare tires. My 14inch rims fit nicely over mine, but when I use a 14inch steelie it fouls the brake. Any suggestions on what to use? Quote
boofis Posted December 30, 2005 Report Posted December 30, 2005 a 15inch stellie ....is this a trick question. Na, but seriously I say try until you get some that fit. lol. Quote
irokin Posted December 30, 2005 Report Posted December 30, 2005 Maybe try a space saver out of an S13 of some description?? If youve got even bigger then your really stuck for options unless its 5 stud. Alternatively, just don't get flat tyres... Quote
love ke70 Posted December 30, 2005 Report Posted December 30, 2005 bah! who needs spare wheels. its called racq 24 hr roadside assist and/or those repair kit things....u know the ones Quote
Super Jamie Posted December 30, 2005 Report Posted December 30, 2005 buy 5 mags  or just a cheap odd ebay/wrecker/mate mag that fits. you see them for sale in pairs every now and then, i think fook had some floating around a while back i suspect a few hours of running around at the wreckers trying on different steelies would net you something that fits Quote
demuire Posted January 30, 2006 Report Posted January 30, 2006 Yup, get another mag that fits :y: Quote
Rolla__Boy Posted January 30, 2006 Report Posted January 30, 2006 Skyline/Pintara standard wheels are 14's and they have reasonably large brakes, maybe see if you can find one to test fit? Quote
NoPsi Posted January 31, 2006 Report Posted January 31, 2006 Not a bad option there from rolla boy however the clear winner is buy a 5th nag. Hit up the wreckers and see what you can scrounge. Quote
