irokin Posted December 31, 2005 Report Posted December 31, 2005 Not really interested in drag. Skidpan and track day is the way to go :D. I would LOVE to get into lakeside. Unfortunatly the track surface isnt much chop these days. QLD raceway is fine for me...what are you all winging about... oh... Quote
love ke70 Posted December 31, 2005 Author Report Posted December 31, 2005 cool, from what i was reading on the lakeside website there has basically been no racing there since 2001 :D bloody councils but they are taking EOI from companies that want to work out of there, these close jan 30 and then they will have to toss around for a while, but maybe we should wait to get out there, it looked a dam good track from the pics on the sight. keep the ideas comin, ill keep lookin into this, plenty of time to get it organised tho  Quote
James Posted December 31, 2005 Report Posted December 31, 2005 my car is stock standard, if I went on a track I would be eating dust, and being FWD on a skid pan would be quite boring. I would not mind being a spectator though. Quote
love ke70 Posted December 31, 2005 Author Report Posted December 31, 2005 get a rwd. and give it some balls uve got plenty of time, mid year is when I'm thinking...maybe later DO IT hehe Quote
Fayt Posted January 1, 2006 Report Posted January 1, 2006 sounds fun, but you mainlanders get ripped off left, right and centre, Baskerville Raceway in tas is $55 per car for the whole day, and the track's pretty much yours onc you pay..... but if you do it, it would be wise not to hit each other  Quote
love ke70 Posted January 1, 2006 Author Report Posted January 1, 2006 bloody tasmanians.... hehe oh heres another option...lets have a destruction derby...oh maybe fayts rite, thats not such a good idea  Quote

Biggo Posted January 2, 2006 Report Posted January 2, 2006 Skidpan i say. Toymods had one out in Gympie awhile back and had a decent turnout (it also rained!!) can't remember prices or such but i can dig it up if u guys want it. Id be interested, depending if this lump of metal is moving or not. Also, i don't want to be swamped by all you 4k crappers hehe. Quote
