Obviously the shape of the car he hit made it do that to his car.

I ran an XY into a Tarago once, and it didn't touch the bonnet, or the bumper, just the guard and the headlight.

Jero ran his KE30 up the ass of something, and just damaged the bumper and the guard, the bonnet and headlight are fine.

ae71neo, i did EXACTLY the same thing as you six months ago... thought the f@$ker in front of me was speeding up but was infact slowing down. i f@$ked the bonnet, lhf guard and headlight. the car was still driveable. i drove it like that for about 2 months, past cops, except for this one time i was travelling down robinson rd in the middle of winter in thick fog coming home at 6am from work and the cops pass me, look me dead in the eye, and i see in my rear vision mirror their brake lights go on and the blinker to chuck a u turn, so i booted the f@$kin thing. i lost em in the fog. suckers! i was happy about that. so the next week i bought a headlight off fook -- props to fook -- and put it in. the car is straight now, just looks a little undercoat-like in a few areas. it's getting painted in a few weeks, and i'm gonna do a poll on here as to what colour to paint it - i'm thinking two tone with racing stripes.

I might need a new bumper to....but headlight is the most important.

I'm not going to drive it without the headlights or indicators as i don't need any more costs. Still gotta pay for the lancer that i hit

fortunately you didn't do much damage.

how much is it going to cost to fix the other car. do you need to use your insurance and cop an excess?

my brother rear ended a new magna in his '64 EH holden. the EH was still drivable, a bit battered, but it didn't even break the headlight. he wrote off the magna.

my mum once skidded into a charade in the rain, in her pajero. the charade needed towing and a new roof and windscreen. mum got the pajero's bullbar resprayed where it got scratched
