Shouldn't be a whole lot different.

If you could build a car to that quality it wouldn't be an issue.

Don't know what the legality of a 3SGTE in a 2x would be either.

yeah i going to have to speak to someone about getting ti registered. i was thinking along the lines of engine bay space, mounting items, relocating etc

ive actually got a ke25 same as that thread you posted for me too....handy :y:

just remember that from the ke20 onwards not alot changed in terms of engine bay space up to the ke70. they all came with the same engine from factory!

give or take a bit of room.

so most things apply to all conversions into, ke20,25,30,55, 70 etc.

here is a 3sgte into a ke70 for example

http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/showthread.php/14414-3sgte-KE70-For-Sale.

i had a bit of a look over this car a while back, nice conversion, but pretty much everything was custom made to suit.

intake manifold, exhaust, water system, all custom made to fit in the car.

Gday Dave,

The 2x engine bay is smaller than a 30. I've had 2TG's in both, and the 20 is a tighter fit, and an overall smaller car.

However, anything can be made to fit if you have the time, talent and of course, cash.

yeah had that in mind.

thanks ke70dave - thats what i was after. ill give it a good read, google it a bit more, then come back with any questions i can't find answers for.

cheers

hmm true... there you go some real world experience with direct comparison..

do you think its fair to say the 30/55/70 is fairly similar?

ive dug around in all of them, but admitedly never taken any real notice of the size and not compared directly..."felt" about the same to me.
