bAKER Posted January 17, 2012 Report Posted January 17, 2012 you get new strut INSERTS, and lowered springs. you need lowered leaves for the back, and short stroke shocks if you like. Quote
still cruizin Posted January 17, 2012 Author Report Posted January 17, 2012 just tryin to lower it stress free... but all i've done is stress about it... Quote
silverra23 Posted January 18, 2012 Report Posted January 18, 2012 I think you are stuggling with the terminology. You can't buy a complete strut for a KE30. You will need to buy lowered springs for the fron - King Springs - KFFL-15 Then you will need to find a strut insert to go in your existing strut housing. Well you don't have to, but the ride will be pretty shit. For the rears, you will need to either get your leaf springs reset, or mix and match the leaf combination if you have the skills. There is plenty of information on how to do that if you do a decent search on this forum. 1 Quote

Jono.C Posted January 20, 2012 Report Posted January 20, 2012 You can buy lowering blocks for around $90 from autobarn/ repco etc in 1/2/3/4" lower Quote
2drke30 Posted January 20, 2012 Report Posted January 20, 2012 Exactly!! On 1/17/2012 at 10:31 AM, B.L.Z.BUB said: Quote
rollalicious Posted January 20, 2012 Report Posted January 20, 2012 $580 is a bit rich! remember that you want a stiffer set up if you are lowering so an extra leaf is required. If you just put in lowering blocks you will hit bump stops A LOT. My local shop added a leaf and reversed my eyes for $200, but I removed them from the car myself. Quote
