hi all rolla fiends! I am new to the corolla scene as i am a rotary head, i have once owned a RWD starlet and a RA23 celica but this is my 1st rolla! i have been living in perth for some time now from NZ and i came across a Ke16. I had never seen one of these in person until i came across this one! i couldnt resist the buy. i am now wondering if i should sell as is or keep on the build. it is tidy and road worthy! but whats it worth? all its missing is a passenger sun visor. the dash top.the standard steering wheel, the cigarette lighter and another dash piece i am unsure of. and i can't figure out how the tail gate used to stay open?? il get some pics up asap!!

So the question is to sell or not to sell??

if i keep i have been doing research and a t50 will fit in standard tunnel and il mount it on a 13b as already have an adaptable bellhousing i had on a mazda and then someone will have to help me with my missing bits! the rear bumper is pretty knackerd but i dobt il find one of them!!

Please don't modify such a RARE wagon

It will turn plenty of heads as it sits right there

This topic is giving me inspiration to take mine for rwc and get it registered.......

Since youre asking for opinions :

I like KE 1#s way better when theyre K-powered than anyting else

and tend to loose interest when they have a non Toyota driveline

but its your car, your desition

if this was the one for sale in the quokka a few months back you beat me to it, its sweet as don't molest it.

alot of people would pay good money for her including myself, have to take mine (ke20) and yours for a few photos :D

Haters are gonna hate - I say 13B the sucker and have the best of both worlds for you, that you will enjoy.

That way you'll have an engine that you know inside and out and something to throw it in that will make it haul ass.

After all, its only a K motor.

I could think of a few different engine combinations to put in it, some Toyota and some from the dark side!

hay hay hay. I'm not trying to step on anyones toes. I love the car! id like to sell as is but don't think id get good money for it so any real enthusiast wants it make me an offer or it will be kept. on the fence right now or should i put i on ebay? but id rather sell on here?

Lol at a t50 behind a 13b. Have fun with that

iv seached this site and many others and have found and seen that t50 fits in manual tunnel ke 10 , 11. bit low to the ground for my liking as i don't want to modify tunnel. I have bellhousing that suits as i had a RWD 323 with t50 gearbox with 13b and have upgraded to w58 so still have bellhousing. please no haters just facts and opinions :)

AS discussed else where recently.. good money for toyota people and good money for mazda people are very different things

I would think your asking price is pretty reasonable but it may not sell that quick through some where like this forum. needs to go on carsales etc to get that money.

Its cool and it would be a shame to see it molested, but each to their own!
