First of all I have never pulled an engine apart before. closest i've come is pulling a carby off a moto and what not.

I took off the cam cover, pulled off the fuel system and the headers, got the cams out... where do i go from here? what holds the head to the block? is it just the headgasket sealing it on or is there other bolts somewhere..

haha I know how nooby this must sound, but hey gotta learn somehow

ok forget that hahaha i found them, but the have a weird head, not like a regular bolt head they almost look like a spline from something, 10mm is too small and 11mm socket is slipping on the bolt, strangeee... would they be imperial size? this is a 2001 model engine wtf

thanks mate, only got a 6 point socket, and couldn't find imperial one to fit, that makes sense tho, the bolts looks as though its designed for a 12 point socket..

conclusion, need better tools haha
