CorollaNut68 Posted January 8, 2012 Report Posted January 8, 2012 We call them "headers" around here. I had some that got too crunchy to keep welding up and finally went back to stock exhaust. Can't seem to find any more these days around here (and can't afford them just now), but would like to know where to find them. Quote
philbey Posted January 8, 2012 Report Posted January 8, 2012 There are Aussie manufacturers if you're willing to foot the shipping cost. HM headers and Perry headers are the brands, I believe they're the same company these days. They're decent quality, I run them. I think about 250 Australian, which is about the same in USD Quote
tojo2 Posted January 8, 2012 Report Posted January 8, 2012 Could run into some RHD / LHD issues tho Quote
CorollaNut68 Posted January 11, 2012 Author Report Posted January 11, 2012 Oh, I hadn't thought about that...I got a steering box to fit around. JC Whitney catalogue used to have them. Quote
tunsafun321 Posted January 11, 2012 Report Posted January 11, 2012 an exhaust shop. thats where i got mine... Quote
philbey Posted January 12, 2012 Report Posted January 12, 2012 Maybe. Take a look at this pic, I reckon you could be ok. The idler arm is through the same axis as the steering box and the box is quite compact. http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?app=core&module=attach§ion=attach&attach_rel_module=post&attach_id=31431 Quote
CorollaNut68 Posted January 13, 2012 Author Report Posted January 13, 2012 i guess I could take the old one down to 3 Star where I've had all my pipes done at...I don't know if they could make some customs. They did my dual exhaust years ago when I split the header and made two 2-1's out of it. The dual exhaust really made a lot of people wonder, and I love the way it looks warming up on a cold day. When asked whats in it..."just a couple o squirrels, and a cat to keep em busy" Quote
