helloooooooooooo, got a few more things done today, finally vinyl sprayed the last brown parts in the car today, yeah yeah its only taken me like 3 years haha, didn't get pics so will try to get a few tomorrow, seats are still brown with seatcovers on them, but think i want different seats, or atleast rt81 high back buckets, i have some in my blue corona but don't wanna use them as its got pretty nice complete interior, will sort something out soon though. bye

hello, thought i'd put a few pics up.

 

 

 

 

the consol fits pretty well, need to make a gearstick boot, and some nice new silver paint around the line will make it look better and sould go with the dash well. still gotta mount it up, i think it should look good when its all done propperly?

thanks haha, nah not lately, got a few bits i wanna do to it but have been pretty flat out getting the vt race car ready for the 30th, iv'e got some 225's for the rear will look a bit better than the 205's, still could go a touch wider but they are what i have, can put spacers in the rear so they sit out a bit further, also wanna lower the rear a bit more, hopefully will get a few bits done over the next week or so!

Hey Glen,

 

I've found a good W50 here in Adelaide and will be getting it on Friday. Wondering if you are able to post up a list of what you used to fit the gearbox (i.e. What size studs you used etc). My friend is a mechanic and we have a workshop we can use, just want to make it as easy as possible by having all the right stuff with us and a rough idea of what to modify.

yeah i'll rack my brain during the week, x member might be different as mine was auto it has 2 different x member mounting positions, but won't be too bad, been a long day of racing though and i'm just about falling asleep haha

haven't updated for a while, i made some 2" lowering blocks the other day, and chucked some 225s on the back, looks allot better.

 

had to pull my tacho apart and swap the guts as my other one shat itself, ditched the console, cbf with it haha.

 

but just really enjoying driving it :y:
