madKE35coupe Posted February 4, 2012 Author Report Posted February 4, 2012 Abit stumped on what to do next. Anyone know of any further improvements I can make on this car on a budget of bugger all? Quote
madKE35coupe Posted February 12, 2012 Author Report Posted February 12, 2012 had enough of seeing this thing sitting in the carport doing nothing. i havent got any of the tools to repair the rust so I'm doing what i do best....hooking up the stezza :P only problem is i still havent found a suitable way to mount the head unit without destroying the dash.....which is not an option. i will run straight 3.5mm to rca's on the amp if i have to Quote
madKE35coupe Posted February 14, 2012 Author Report Posted February 14, 2012 NEW PLANN!!!! i don't know why i didnt think of it before. i will take measurements of the trans tunnel and distance to bottom of dash and heater vents in front of firewall, give them to my old man and get him to make up a custom stereo, speaker and gauge mount for below the dash :) Quote
madKE35coupe Posted February 23, 2012 Author Report Posted February 23, 2012 Another update might have a 32/36 weber and genie extractors on the old girl soon ;) Quote
madKE35coupe Posted March 5, 2012 Author Report Posted March 5, 2012 just a quick question, ella has tole me what its called but i can't remember, the heater pump that runs off the engine belt? the hoses have been blocked off, just wondering if there is any point to it? or can i take it out without any consequences? also will it affect the vehicles roadworthiness? also, with the weber, the corona runs a slightly different throttle setup, has anyone had any trouble hooking one up before? madKE35coupe Posted March 18, 2012 Author Report Posted March 18, 2012 just crawled out of the back of the wagon. now have 6 inch speakers mounted behind the panels in the back, factory speaker mounting bracket fit straight up :laff: . also have a center console that i am going to use.....should look pretty cool  Quote
SLW42 Posted March 19, 2012 Report Posted March 19, 2012 (edited) The heater hoses have probably been disconnected cause of a leaking heater box 9 times out of 10, you do need it to get road worthy cause it came out with the car it has to have it, I have been defected for the same thing hahaha. Not sure about the corona throttle setup but you should be able to dodgy something up aye Edited March 19, 2012 by SLW42 Quote
madKE35coupe Posted March 20, 2012 Author Report Posted March 20, 2012 not anything mega special... just something a mate made up for me :) Quote

madKE35coupe Posted March 25, 2012 Author Report Posted March 25, 2012 stereo is just about wired up, just need a console to mount it to. really want some speakers up front though; what are everyone's thoughts on speakers in the kick panel rather than the door? Quote
