Mason. Posted January 4, 2012 Report Posted January 4, 2012 Angle grinder, simple. Hahaha not safe. But effective. My old corolla had "low king springs" in the front, that had 1.5 coils cut... Sat nice, just don't go to fast through the hills :) Quote
shayden Posted January 4, 2012 Report Posted January 4, 2012 don't cut the front biggest mistake eva! the ride turns frm bad to worse jus get kings in front n choppies in the rear with good shockers Quote
01sik Posted January 4, 2012 Report Posted January 4, 2012 ^^ pussy lol, i cut mine in half, well, just about anyway, falcon srings rear and kings up front you will probly need to cut them still i came from a streeted track spec starlet, on tein HA coilovers, that thing was like a salt shaker Quote
Grand Master of Awesome Posted January 5, 2012 Report Posted January 5, 2012 Nothing wrong with cut kings in the rear, zip tie them in if you're worried about them falling out, which is never going to happen anyway. Just buy some AJPS springs for the front, or custom kings. Normal king springs are too soft and start sagging fairly quick. 5kg front will be good for daily. Depending how low you go, might require some shorter stroke shocks. Quote

bAKER Posted January 5, 2012 Report Posted January 5, 2012 Everyone is pretty tight about chopping it seems. I have a ke70 that was on choppies, then onto super low kings. Made her a 4wd. Also another ke70 on chopped falcon springs. Going to get another set of falcons instead of the kingies. Quote
zeph_KE70 Posted January 5, 2012 Report Posted January 5, 2012 yeah don't cut the springs, don't reckon its worth the hassle. + i'm also looking for some fender mirrors, aha hopefully 5.0 wont be too sus. :fuzz: Quote
Mezz/// Posted January 6, 2012 Report Posted January 6, 2012 It's easy to cut springs,..cheap..but they ride like crap and are dangerous and can fall out Quote

There gotta be better than the one stock one I got now, -___- Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted January 23, 2012 Report Posted January 23, 2012 (edited) Are you not allowed them??? There gotta be better than the one stock one I got now, -___- They must be able to be adjusted from the drivers seat I'm pretty sure. So long arms, electric ones or do it illegal. Mind you trying to adjust my passenger one from the drivers seat = impossible. Edited January 23, 2012 by B.L.Z.BUB Quote
