Rollajones Posted January 2, 2012 Author Report Posted January 2, 2012 Would stock wheel nuts work on these or do I need to buy some specials? /new kid Quote
carbonboy Posted January 2, 2012 Report Posted January 2, 2012 Would stock wheel nuts work on these or do I need to buy some specials? /new kid Not if you've got the standard steel wheels with the 'acorn' style wheel nuts. Quote
Rollajones Posted January 3, 2012 Author Report Posted January 3, 2012 Not if you've got the standard steel wheels with the 'acorn' style wheel nuts. ahh, well thats what i have. what will i need to get? and how much will i be looking for the nuts? (if anyone knows) Quote
madKE35coupe Posted January 3, 2012 Report Posted January 3, 2012 i can't remember what they are called, but you need the wheel nuts that are tube shaped on the end so they will actually slot inside the stud holes on the wheels.....do they call those lug nuts? i can't remember, but those are the ones you will need. don't buy super cheap ones, they are just an accident waiting to happen. so either from repco or a tyre shop, but make sure you state the make and model they are going on....i have a feeling ke70 are 12x1.25 thread? depending on where you buy them from and how many, they will generally range from $2.50 to $4.50 each, so expect to pay a fairly hefty price for a good set Quote
