JDM55 Posted December 29, 2011 Report Posted December 29, 2011 thats mad, great pics there mate, i love starlets, ive owned one with a 12a rotory engine in it, was mental little thing, don't see these in australia ,your not from new zealand are you? keep up the progress it must handle like a machine with all those goodies on there Quote
cianw94 Posted December 29, 2011 Author Report Posted December 29, 2011 Thanks dude. It has fair good handling to be fair. Power with the 4age was brilliant until I busted that cam. Was good for 3rd gear arse out, sideways action!! I am from Ireland. There were loads sold here but the vast majority were scrapped or burried due to rust. There is a good community of modified Starlets over here though. Quote
JJT036 Posted December 29, 2011 Report Posted December 29, 2011 What a Beast! Must be a rocketship with the Carby 4AG in there. Top Job Cian. :y: Josh  Quote
cianw94 Posted December 29, 2011 Author Report Posted December 29, 2011 Thanks Josh was good and pokey alright but it didn't do much driving before the camshaft snapped. Quote
philbey Posted December 29, 2011 Report Posted December 29, 2011 Mate. That is tufffffffff. Nice one. Where'd you find the LSD? Quote
cianw94 Posted December 29, 2011 Author Report Posted December 29, 2011 Thanks man. A company in Ireland, japaneseperformance.ie imported it from Japan from me. That is what he does. They are quite expensive though. Having a welded diff would drive me mad with skipping and locking all the time though. Quote
cianw94 Posted January 5, 2012 Author Report Posted January 5, 2012 Underneath the chassis legs, the front slam pannel, valance, outer side of inner wings and the crossmember are now painted red. She can now be dropped back to her wheels and I will leave the bay for the spray booth to get the best finished. The wings and bonnet are nearly all ready for primer too hopefully over the weekend. Haven't got any pictures though, tomorrow! Will give it another coat tomorrow which will make it 3. Quote
frosty Posted January 6, 2012 Report Posted January 6, 2012 Fantastic  keep up the excellent work :y: Quote
cianw94 Posted January 8, 2012 Author Report Posted January 8, 2012 The rest of the bay is guide coated now. 4 coats and ready to drop it onto its wheels now. Paint looks sh!t in the pictures. Quote
