Ae71 Pinion Crush Washer?

Hi Guys,

 

Wondering if anyone could shed some light on the pinion spacers in standard AE71 Diff

 

Are these crush washers or are they a solid unit?

 

I have had to replace the pinion with a spare i had and wondering if i can re-use the original?
