Trev Posted December 12, 2011 Report Posted December 12, 2011 Do you mean rotary as in turn knob and not a wheel? Quote

clubby2084 Posted December 12, 2011 Report Posted December 12, 2011 (edited) My parents use to have a 1976 Toyota Corona SE (RT118?). I'm pretty sure that use to have a vertical slide type dash dimmer. I can picture the one your taliking about too. Edited December 12, 2011 by clubby2084 Quote
Hiro Protagonist Posted December 12, 2011 Report Posted December 12, 2011 (edited) 101/102s have a vertical one (like an air-vent control) - hardly the vintage you're after though... Edited December 12, 2011 by Hiro Protagonist Quote
jimmy-d Posted December 12, 2011 Report Posted December 12, 2011 could it be the switch for a fan speed controller?can't remember a sliding type dimmer switch. Quote

That is a wheel, he wants to know about a sliding switch like how an AFX track controller works. Edited December 12, 2011 by Trev Quote

7shades Posted December 12, 2011 Report Posted December 12, 2011 Think of a KE70 blower fan switch, but up/down instead of left/right, and continuously variable instead of OFF-1-2-3-4. Quote
Trev Posted December 13, 2011 Report Posted December 13, 2011 Matt, no luck in the coaster, I don't even think it has a dimmer. Quote
