Yeah thats what I am leaning towards. Will have to wait a few weeks. Hopefully the head is ok, I only drove it around the block. What a waste of $55 of oil.

haha first time i drove mine, second lap the idler pulley fell off so the belt came off, blew the head gasket, temp gauge only went to half.... and i just thought the lack of power would have been the pvc intercooler piping melted, but no... :no2: was as good as new with another gasket, hopefully yours will be as easy :y:

By the way, you can buy bolt-on swaybar mounts from Whiteline.

 

Yeah will probably buy a whole center if I can, its only zenki so hopefully wont cost a bazillion dollars.

Can anyone give me advice on what thickness head gasket I should get? Should I stick with a standard thickness or go slightly thicker with the increased boost?

It depends on how high your increase of boost is. If its only a couple of PSI I would stay with standard thickness. Plus a thicker Head gasket does not change your static compression a great deal anyways.
