Got it all sorted with a piece of PVC pipe from bunnings.

 

Fit in pretty sweet.

 

 

Put all the cam covers and plug covers back on. Painted the PVC pipe

 

 

 

Looks more respectable than the fully hectic pod filter. Will get a K&N filter for it one Monday, the filter that came in it was almost brand new by the looks so will do for a test drive tomorrow. Need to swap the blue silicone bit for a black one.

Yes, but the whole point of the airbox was to achieve the blue piece of metal.

Looks incredibly close to factory dude! One of the best 'custom' air boxes I've seen.

 

Do you need an air box for modplate in QLD?

Threw a K&N air filter in which helped, but when giving it some revs it seemed like it was choking a bit. As you can see from the pics where the air port is its right behind the headlight. So I stole some flexible/mouldable piping from work and snaked a clean air intake kinda thing down to it. Ill need to go to a wrecker and try and find something that looks better but for now it will suffice.

Where did you move your washer bottle ? I've got my overflow in the same spot. But dunno where to move my washer bottle

It sits inbetween the radiator and front apron, same as my overflow bottle.

Got my 3" silicone pipe in the mail. Works a lot better, the other flexi-pipe was too wide and fouled on the bonnet.

Blue of course, for those extra killerwasps.

It was risky but I think the white suits them. Will look good with all my chrome and clear indicators I think.
