B.L.Z.BUB Posted May 29, 2012 Author Report Posted May 29, 2012 (edited) had a look at spare center. It's locked too. FML. Pulled a handful of weld and shards of metal out of the housing. Hopefully it works until I find an open center. Edited May 29, 2012 by B.L.Z.BUB Quote
SLW42 Posted May 29, 2012 Report Posted May 29, 2012 Make sure you use the same crown wheel off your centre when you swap them over too, cause the gears are cut to be matched!! It's easy to swap centre's takes about an hour max Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted May 29, 2012 Author Report Posted May 29, 2012 (edited) Crown wheel? It's in. 2.5 hours with a lot of standing around. Quite happy with that for my first go. Edited May 29, 2012 by B.L.Z.BUB Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted May 29, 2012 Author Report Posted May 29, 2012 (edited) So this is what I pulled out of the diff housing. the inside of the centre is fcuked. Gear teeth and weld everywhere. The new locked centre is in and feels so much better, still want an open but it will do for now. Pics of the welds: When I bought it the guy said the centre got replaced but I'm thinking he left the shit one in and the spare was the good one. Also Edited May 29, 2012 by B.L.Z.BUB Quote
Jono.C Posted May 29, 2012 Report Posted May 29, 2012 Same shocks as in my ke10. I rate them. Are yours adjustable as well? You just compact them and twist to adjust Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted May 29, 2012 Author Report Posted May 29, 2012 Yeah, took me a bit to figure out how to adjust them. They go pretty firm aye :o Quote
Jono.C Posted May 29, 2012 Report Posted May 29, 2012 Yeah they do! Not as still in the car though :( Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted June 1, 2012 Author Report Posted June 1, 2012 1: Beige 2: Black or 3: Green. ? No other options. All matte. Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted June 1, 2012 Author Report Posted June 1, 2012 I liked the old green. As did I, but if I go green I'm thinking more military, that old green was a fluke. Awesome, but a fluke. Quote
rollalicious Posted June 1, 2012 Report Posted June 1, 2012 keep it the same? I feel the general look of the car was great when you got it Quote
