Willis Posted April 5, 2012 Report Posted April 5, 2012 Interesting, I'll have to speak with you in a bit more depth about it when the time comes around. It looks awesome though. And alot cheaper than KE70 items I'm gathering. Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted April 5, 2012 Author Report Posted April 5, 2012 I got the front one already bent to fit for free and the rear (mynt) off Dougie for $60. The first rear one I got was immaculate too and cost me $20 but I backed into a pole. They fit well, hug the car. Stick out bugger all which I like, even 70 chrome bars don't fit that snug to the body. Only bad point is the ends don't match the indents in the body. For me it was a cheaper option, but now I really like them, so much tighter to the body than 70 ones. Quote
Willis Posted April 5, 2012 Report Posted April 5, 2012 Shame about not matching the indents of the body but it doesn't look too bad at all. Way better than the stock protruders. Quote
SLW42 Posted April 6, 2012 Report Posted April 6, 2012 I do remember a certain photo starting said ke3x bars onto ke70 hahaha ;) Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted April 6, 2012 Author Report Posted April 6, 2012 I do remember a certain photo starting said ke3x bars onto ke70 hahaha ;) Yeah I cut the grass from under you on that deal, was a bit of a dick move come to think of it. Ill sell you your seats back dirt cheap when I find some new ones though :y: Quote
BlueKsev Posted April 7, 2012 Report Posted April 7, 2012 Wouldn't you go for ke55 with the plastic end caps? Even more like the expensive "jdm" ones, i almost did it myself, they look pretty good on one of the ke70s we have here in tassie. But those ke30 ones are almost t18ish, they look pretty good, but for $55 for both my xt130 bumpers I'm happy with mine  they sit really tight to the car too Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted April 9, 2012 Author Report Posted April 9, 2012 ^Yeah mine were just what I ended up with. Home made wheel alignment system fishing line and some square steel I had laying around. I am that broke. Quote

B.L.Z.BUB Posted April 13, 2012 Author Report Posted April 13, 2012 I'm in a 'want to sell' mood. Been perving at KE20's again. Nom nom nom Quote
Willis Posted April 13, 2012 Report Posted April 13, 2012 MMM KE20 goodness. Jono.C's cars are making me seriously consider hunting a '10 when the 70's finished. Quote

B.L.Z.BUB Posted April 15, 2012 Author Report Posted April 15, 2012 (edited) resolved. Edited April 16, 2012 by B.L.Z.BUB Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted April 16, 2012 Author Report Posted April 16, 2012 So because I don't have side indicators i thought id be all rice and put some on my fender mirrors. They stick out too much and work bad. Took ages but meh, these things work sometime and sometimes they don't. When I attached them to the battery to test them they were really bright. But in the video they are dull as. http://youtu.be/LAQoOKxaEr4 I still like the idea so i have ordered these ones from a Navara. Non LED bulb ones which are a lot slimmer and square. Hopefully they work better so I can do the old stocking tint trick. Quote
rian Posted April 16, 2012 Report Posted April 16, 2012 Interesting, are the LED ones motorcycle indicators? Quote
