kamakazeKoala Posted December 3, 2011 Report Posted December 3, 2011 Gday, Have been trying to decide on the colour to paint my rolla as her exterior has seen much better days :) i have thought about either a total strip and painting it in british racing green, or respraying her in the colour it currently is, however i don't know for the life of me whether or not the colour on there now is a factory spray, if anyone has any information to share on this it would be most appreciated :) Quote
JJT036 Posted December 3, 2011 Report Posted December 3, 2011 Hey bud pm me the paint code and i will check on the PPG database for you cheers Woz Quote
warrenfromtonny Posted December 3, 2011 Report Posted December 3, 2011 apparently this is a good reference. stolen from old post Paint code reference check the code on the car and see if it matches any of the colours, may have had a respray in the past, or not listed above. nothing there looks close to your colour, but i have a gaurd that looks similar. hope this helps matt Quote
kamakazeKoala Posted December 3, 2011 Author Report Posted December 3, 2011 ahh where do i find the paint code on the car :P Quote
parrot Posted December 3, 2011 Report Posted December 3, 2011 (edited) Or you can put paint into the search function....... http://www.rollaclub...__1#entry561759 Edit: It's actually only 8 threads down the list Edited December 3, 2011 by parrot Quote
BCRacing Posted December 5, 2011 Report Posted December 5, 2011 Mine was that same colour when we got it. I was told it was original?? Quote
kamakazeKoala Posted December 7, 2011 Author Report Posted December 7, 2011 sorry for repost fellas, my bad, first time ive actually posted without searching first  Quote
kamakazeKoala Posted December 7, 2011 Author Report Posted December 7, 2011 still strugling to match one of those colours to my car, i dunno what codes I'm supposed to be matching up to be honest Quote
Hiro Protagonist Posted December 7, 2011 Report Posted December 7, 2011 No idea on the actual code, but it looks extremely similar to colour of my mum's first car which she bought new back in '69 so would be quite surprised if it's not a factory colour (or very close to one). Quote
parrot Posted December 7, 2011 Report Posted December 7, 2011 I reckon it's factory too. Realistically, the simplest thing to do is to take the petrol filler flap off and get a paint shop to match to the colour on the inside. I recently did just that and the paint guys took two hours, but you will get the coulour you need. Quote
kamakazeKoala Posted December 8, 2011 Author Report Posted December 8, 2011 Aight, cool, too easy... Thanks for the help fellas, fingers crossed they can match it Quote
